I am 49 years old,  a mechanical engineer from India with core competence in marketing Water/Effluent/Sewage Treatment Plants, Desalination Plants, Industrial Pumping Systems and capital equipments including supply, erection and commissioning. I believe that we need to educate web users about the imminent danger of global warming and water scarcity, both of which can lead to World War III within two decades and has the potential to destroy mankind either because of war or by water borne diseases. It is high time the corporates, technology companies and equity investors took cognizance of this danger and invest knowledge and money to mitigate, if not eliminate the problem altogether to ensure survival of mankind for a few hundred years more, until mankind establishes bases in the Moon and Mars and eventually and invitably colonize them. There is no doubt in my mind that all the weapons that the global superpowers like USA, China and Russia have accumulated will blow the human population out of existence soon, however, it is the duty of the politicians to ensure that it does not happen. We, the engineers, must make our contribution to mitigate global warming and water scarcity by creating enlightenment for the ignorant masses on the internet through well researched posts and articles!
